Right click to resize pictures and much more

Permalink 04:35:14 pm by Eugene Gardner, Categories: Technical Tips

To shrink one or a batch of photos to enable them to be sent by e-mail without taking forever to send or being blocked by the ISP due to being too large, install Microsoft's resizer available from their PowerToys page. Now just select the photos you want to change, right click the mouse and select Resize Pictures.

Other right click goodies such as Open Command Window Here, En/decrypt file(s) and print directory listing become available after installing the excellent rjhExtensions available from http://www.rjhsoftware.com/rjhextensions/

The only other must have software to hang off the right click (properly known as the context menu) is a quality free Zip compression utility such as that available from http://www.7-zip.org/
